Asian Garlic Chicken


One whole chicken cut into 8 pieces or any chicken parts desired (like chicken breast or legs)

3 cloves minced garlic

2 inch piece of ginger, minced

½ cup soy sauce

2 tbsp honey

2 tbsp fish sauce

Juice of 1 lemon

1 finely chopped hot chili pepper or chili pepper flakes (optional)

½ cup fresh chopped coriander (cilantro)



Place all meat in a bowl or plastic bag

Combine all other ingredients in a bowl and stir to make the marinade

Pour marinade over the chicken and work into the meat evenly

Marinade for minimum 4 hours or overnight

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

On a baking sheet, evenly space out chicken and bake 40-50 minutes or until dark golden brown and juices run clear
